Great hidden diner! Stopped this noon since it was on our way, and had been meaning to for some time. Owner is the nephew of church friends. Service was very friendly. Food was very plentiful and delicious. I'm not really a fries girl, but get these! That hint of black pepper is so nice. Thin crispy planks. We both had enough for two meals. Dad's shrimp were huge.

Club sandwich is my go to here. Something light but plenty of flavor. Jess in the casino is great every time.

The French dip was as good as you could hope for, just a wonderful sandwich. Was able to get in and out in half an hour for a Tuesday lunch. Definitely a great find!

My husband and I decided to try somewhere we haven't been in Sioux Falls. So glad I stumbled upon Tinners. We both ordered a Flatbread which was amazing. We tried the cheese ball appetizers that were also very good! The smokey ranch was so good that we asked for extra to take home with leftovers!

The walleye tacos I ordered were great! The beer on tap is ice cold and the service is on-point! I highly recommend. I took pictures because it’ll be looking different in the next couple days because they’re remodeling the entire place!

My husband and I had the chislic and shrimp dinners and it was very good, this was our first time here, our waitress even though the place was busy, made sure she checked on us regularly. This is a very small bar and restaurant so I feel that the only thing I can say that is slightly negative would be the very LOUD music, you are unable to have any type of conversation with anyone you are with until after you leave, the waitress even had trouble hearing us over the music.

Ist, Kayla was awesome & made our dinner taste even better! 2nd, the food was delicious! Those two things unfortunately were overshadowed by the shrieking kids. Disclaimer: Kids & (loud, screaming) babies are apparently allowed (I never took my kids to bar type restaurants...guess I'm old school at 53 years. Lol). So if you are looking for an adult experience, this isn't it. Next time I go, if there are ANY children present, I'll get my food to go.

My wife and I have gotten carry out from Northstar twice now and have been really impressed with the quality and quantity of the food. We ordered burgers, wraps, and the fish and chips. Portions were generous, the burgers were huge, and all for a really reasonable price. In a world of restaurants that are raising prices and reducing the amount of food you get Northstar isn’t one of them. The staff is also really friendly and quick to acknowledge I’m there for carry out and process my payment. They are quickly becoming our go-to destination for carry out. We live nearby and are really glad we found them. Judging by how full the restaurant is this gem has a following! We highly recommend Northstar!
